October dragged herself through the doors of the Great Hall, looking a bit worse for wear. If there was one thing she hated more than loud noises, it was early mornings. Nevertheless, she had not been able to fall asleep again after waking up, so why not come to breakfast? She had nothing better to do for the moment.
She stumbled sleepily over to the Slytherin table and sat down in her usual spot at the end.

Morgan , always the late one for breakfast, yawned as she sat down at the Gryffindor table.

James looked up as Morgan sat down. "Hey," he said with a smile. "What's up?" Seeing that she was half-asleep, he added, "Here, have a muffin."
((yeah... he's just being extra-friendly cause of the going-out-kinda-not-really thing.))

"Unless it's a blueberry one, I don't want it..." Morgan said looking at the muffin. "Nothings up with me. How about you?"

"Hey guys." Alice said sitting in the empty seat next to James. "What's up with you people?"

A empty seat on the bench had Kingsley's name on it. The party with the other Gryffindors was going to kill him. "'ello." was his only form of greeting. With his head on the table, he found a friendly pancake to eat.

James shrugged in response to the two girls; nodded at Kingsley, who seemed to have an awful hangover; and put a blueberry muffin onto Morgan's plate as well as three onto his own.

"God James, hungry enough." Alice said taking an apple muffin, and tearing it into smaller peices.

James shrugged. "Well, I don't want bacon or anything, so..." He tore a small piece off of a muffin and ate it.
((and all I have to say is PICKY PRONGS! woo disney in-jokes.))

"You decided you'd eat all the muffins you can?" Alice said, finishing his sentence for him.

James shrugged and nodded. "Yeah, pretty much," he replied, deciding that being neat could just go die and taking a huge bite out of one of the muffins.

"Nice." Alice said eating another of the smaller peices of muffin. "Very guy like."

Still munching on the pancake, Kingsley shushed his tablemates. "Will you guys bring the volume down a bit?"

Mesedj wandered into the Great Hall and sat down near the end, by October. Despite her multiple all-night Divination sessions lately, it wasn't straight-off obvious that she hadn't slept for four days.

October drearily acknowledged the dark haired Seventh year who had just sat down next to her with a nod, "Hello." She said, her voice sounding somewhat shaky with exhaustion, "I don't think I've had the pleasure of meeting you yet."
She had always been tired in the mornings. October was something of an insomniac, usually lying awake for hours on end before final drifting off in the wee hours of the morning. It had been like that since around the time her father had been sentenced to death. Nothing could really cure it.
