"mmhmm," She said making some humming sound, "I try not to think about my food before I get it. It goes down better that way."

"You can do that. I just don't like things that move." October replied, "I suppose that is one downside of being involved in the magical society."

"True, lots of things do move here," Caroline agreed thinking of the stair cases and other such moving objects which still farley creeped her out. "But, there are a lot of wonderful things that move as well, and which wouldn't be nearly as fun or useful if they didn't."

"True. Very true." October nodded, "Once again, you make a good point. Personally, I just don't like food items that move on their own accord."

"Speaking of food items, do you want any of this," She said motioning to the littered up floor of food and other such objects.

October thought a moment. She was not exactly hungry right now, but it would be a bit rude to turn Caroline's offer down, especaially after the Gryffindor had been so uncharacteristically nice to her.
She picked up a package of Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans. Opening this package with her long, pale, bony fingers and popped an emerald green one in her mouth. October winced, "Augh. Grass flavored."

Caroline laughed. "You so should have scene the expression on your face." She started gasping for air; though when she finally calmed down she said, "I got a dung one last week."

"It was pretty horrid, but there are worst things." The Gryffindor smiled. Always looking at the better side of things, had always been a sort of annoying trait of hers.

"well, yes. There are many worse things." October nodded in agreement.

"Well then," the other girl said while picking up the floor around them, "want to go to dinner?"

"Certainly." October got to her feet and brushed herself off, "Shall we go, then?"

Caroline finished gathering her belongings and stood up, "Onward then," she said, pointed to the door, and started marching.

October, smiling slightly, floated out the door after the cheerful Gryffindor.
