October hovered near the crumpled, black gate surrounding the perimeter of the Shrieking Shack. The grey sky overhead lent the place an even more ominous look. She kept one hand on the gate, gripping it so tightly that her knuckles turned white.
The Shack was quiet now; the only sound coming from it was the creaky, softly-swinging shutters still stuck to the old windows. October frowned slightly, concentrating heavily on those shutters swinging in the slight breeze, as if expecting to see the white face of a ghost peer out at her.
It was not long ago that she and Severus had wandered around the Hogsmeade village, asking people about what they knew about the mysterious, haunted Shrieking Shack. She had come up here alone a few times since then (always during the day, of course), but had never gone farther than the gate. After all, she wasn't stupid.

Blaze was walking around Hogsmeade and saw October walking towards the shrieking shack and decided to go along though she was a good way inhead of him. He tried calling out but he didn't think she ever herd him. Finally she stopped at the front of the gate and he was able to reach her. Though instead of a nice hello he snuck up behind her and went, "Boo," real sofly in her ear.

October yelped softly and spun around to face Blaze, blue eyes wide, "Blaze!" She exclaimed, relief evident, "Please, don't sneak up on me like that. It is quite alarming." The Slytherin fourth year quickly regained her composure and gave Blaze the fiercest glare she could muster.

"You know you are quiet scary at times," he laughed, "What are you doing up here anyway?"

"Just..." October paused, casting a quick glance back at the Shrieking Shack, as though worried something might change while her back was turned, "...thinking. So, anyway, how am I at all scary?" She adopted an impish smirk.

"Ha, the way you glare. It's a little creepy," Blaze smiled. "So, do you normally come here to think, or is this a special occasion?"

"I've been coming more often as of late, I suppose." October replied vaguely, turning her back on Blaze to look at the Shack again, "But this isn't one of my usual haunts, no."

Blaze leaned on the fence seeing how stirdy it was and wondering if he could jump it. "Then what would be a usual haunt," he asked lifting himself up halfway over the fence.

October watched him warily, "...I wouldn't do that if I were you." She warned him, "But anyway, I don't exactly have a 'usual haunt' in Hogsmeade. Usually, I just drift around, not really going anywhere and never staying in one place for long."

"Awesome," he replied only now half of the way paying attention to their conversation since the fence was wobbling and he was about to fall.

"You're going to hurt yourself by doing that, Blaze." October attempted to warn him again, but she had little hope that he would actually listen to her.
((I have to go for the night. See you tomorrow.))

((Farewell))
Of course Blaze didn't listen and fell off the fence bringing some of it down with him. "Ouch," he muttered rolling on the ground.

"I told you." October sighed. She stepped lightly over the part of the fence Blaze had single-handedly collasped and extended her hand to him to help him get up, "Come on, now."

He took her hand and got back to his feet looking at the sky. "It's a lovley day today," Blaze said sarcastically, "looks like it's about to rain an minute." he stared at the shack and contimplateed getting on

"Maybe." October replied, glancing quickly up at the sky, "Or it just could be a windy, grey day."
