Brendon was new and just strolling along. He smelt the breakfast air loom in his nose. He saw 4 girls walk past and giggle. He wondered who they were. Then he reached the great hall. He bumped into his sister, Katinka. "Hello sister." he said cooly.

October floated into the Great Hall, carrying a thick book tucked safely underneath her right arm. She glanced around the loud, large room with obvious disdain. Even after four years of coming in here every single day, October could not get used to all the noise. She could remember, way back in her first year, once asking Professor Slughorn if she could eat in the common room, simply to avoid having to endure all the loud noise. Of course, her (completely serious) request was met with a laugh and she was sent packing without another word.
In an attempt to block out the noise, October closed her eyes and began humming to herself as she dragged herself in the general direction of the Slytherin table. This was a bad idea, for half way there, she bumped into a boy, specifically, a Gryffindor boy, that she had never met before, "Oh. I apologize." She said quickly the boy, who was chatting with a Ravenclaw girl she was not familiar with either.

Newbie
I'm alone here, at Hogwarts. Ireland was my home, but my dad died, so this is for the best.

Katinka smiled at her brother. "Hi, how do you like here?" she said as her brother gave her a tight hug. Suddenly a girl bumped into Brendon. Katinka saw Brendon's eyes light up when he saw her. She quickly went off.
Her mind went wandering about the girl and her brother, but something hit her like a rock. She turned around and glanced at the girl. Katinka's face went hot, it was a SLytherin girl, August's sister. Katinka didn't like her very much. It was that she hated her, it was just the stories her friends had told her. Wait, could those so called freinds even be her friends at all?

Brendon smiled at the girl who had just bumped into him. "Oh, its quite alright." he said cooly. She was quite a beautiful girl. He smiled once again at her. The other girl, Katinka, his sister, left quickly to go off and chat to someone else. "I'm Brendon. And you are?" he said, slightly moving closer to the girl. He wondered how old she was, and more importantly was she dating anyone.

((Wrong account, dear))
"Oh, um, October Cricket." October replied, taking a step back from the boy. She was not exactly sure she liked the way he was looking at her. It made her feel slightly nervous.

Blaze walked into the Great Hall and saw October talking to some kid he didn't know, "Good Morning Tober!" Blaze greeted her happily.

October turned away from the boy, glad for a distraction, and drifted over to Blaze, "Thank you." She said to him quietly, so that no one else could hear, then said, "Good Morning, Blaze! Did you sleep well?"

"I actually got to sleep before three in the morning." October replied, smiling a little and nodding lightly, "That's a rather unusual occurance for an insomniac like myself, but it was certainly a welcome one."

"Congratulations!," Blaze applauded, "That's awesome! So then, do you think you will be in a lovley mood today?" He started walking towards a table feeling his stomache wanting food.

The moment they passed out of earshot of the boy, October released a heavy sigh, "Blaze, I can't thank you enough for coming in when you did." She told him, sounding completely serious, "That boy was making me rather nervous..."

Blaze stopped and blinked at her for a second, wondering what exactually he did to be thanked. He would have thought she was joking but she didn't look it. Deciding to take the thanks he smiled once again, "Umm, you're welcome. Who was that anyway?"

"Honestly, I'm not sure." October replied, casting a glance back in the direction of the boy, "I simply bumped into him on the way over to our house table..."

"I swear if he as much as blinked at you the wrong way, I'll--" Blaze began angrly then once he realized what he was saying turned around and clenched his fists. "I mean, well," he started over, "Just tell me if he bugs you."

October raised an eyebrow, surprised by this sudden change in Blaze, "Um, ah, are you feeling alright, Blaze?" She asked, staring at him with a bewildered look in her large, blue eyes. He was not normally like that. Usually, Blaze would not care if some random boy tired to hit on her. After all, they were simply house mates, and although October admitted it reluctantly, friends. She would imagine Blaze would be more amused by this than angry...
