Mimi held the heavy Hospital Wing door open for Drommel, and continued to watch him worriedly and intently. His wrist was looking worse and she wanted him to get it fixed as soon as possible. The walk over had been almost been painful for Mimi, but probably not nearly as painful as it had been for Drommel.
"C'mon, Drommel. Why don't you sit down on one of the beds and I'll go get Madam Pomfrey." Mimi said softly to him, her eyes glued to his rapidly swelling wrist.

Drommel sat down on an empty bed. "Thank you Mimi." he said.

Mimi smiled weakly and then darted over to Madam Pomfrey's office. She knocked, rather violently, on the door and reeived no answer from inside. The fifth year frowned and then dragged her feet over to Drommel. "I don't think she's in right now." She sighed, sitting down on the bed next to the Slytherin third year. "So, how's your wrist? Is there anywhere else you're hurt? Oh, Drommel, I wish I had gotten there earlier..."

"It's fine, I am not hurt any where else, Mimi." Drommel said and smiled. "I am glad you were there when you were. Blaze might have decided he needed some one to hurt." he smiled.

This did nothing for Mimi's mood. She stared over at him mounrfully. "Still, this could have been prevented easily. If I had gotten there earlier...Oh, Drommel!" Tears began to well up into Mimi's bright, yellow eyes. Realizing she must look hideously stupid, she quickly wiped them away on the sleeve of her robe. "Sorry."

Drommel looked shocked, but then he smiled. "It's okay." he said and hugged her."Besides, it doesn't hurt that bad." he added.

"I don't care if the pain is mind numbing or if it's only an annoying little ache." Mimi barked. "You still got hurt and I could have stopped that from happening. I feel terrible for that, Drommel. I don't want you to get hurt." She looked away from him and stared at her scuffed-up black shoes sitting on the floor.

"Mimi, there was nothing you could have done except fight Blaze and I didn't want that." Drommel said looking at her. "Blaze wouldn't have cared if he hurt you, but I would, Mimi. I was glad you got there when you did." he smiled.

Mimi sniffed and wiped her face again on the sleeve of her black school robes. She sighed. "Blaze couldn't have hurt me. That kid is a shrimp, if you haven't noticed. I'm much taller than he is and probably stronger." She turned her eyes back over to him. "I could have stopped him from hurting you, I know I could have and I didn't."

Drommel smiled at her. "I'm glad you care, but please don't get yourself down. I'll be fine. And I am sure you could have beat him, he is a shrimp. You might have gotten hurt though." he smiled.

Mimi tried to smile and she gave Drommel a quick hug. "Fine. I guess I can live with it. But, you're still hurt, there are no healers around, and I don't understand healing magic at all. I really hope Madam Pomfrey, or Comas, or somebody who 'gets' healing magic comes in soon."

Drommel smiled. "Good. I bet someone will come."
