October glanced up from her book to observe the girls who were talking, one was a Gryffindor she had seen before at dinner, but the other, a blue-haired girl was unknown to her. Mesedj was there as well, but October refrained from addressing her.

Mesedj blinked at the girl who had addressed her. "I'm Mesedj. Who are you?"

"I am Virga Navitas. I'm in Ravenclaw. What house are you in?" Virga asked.

Mesedj smirked. "Slytherin."

Caroline entered the pitch with her broom hoping to get a little flying practice in. She noticed the other girls already there and decided against making a fool of herself with them around. Just when she was about to leave she saw the girl she met at The Three Broom Sticks a few days before, and walked over waving. "Hey," Caroline said, "whatca reading?" She propped her broom up on the bleachers and took a seat next to the Slytherin.

"Oh. Hello." There was a slight note of disdain in October's voice. Not because this girl was a Gryffindor, but because she had not wanted to be bothered. Oh well. At least this girl was one of the more tolerable Gryffindors, "It's a book a friend reccomended to me about a town in America where they held 'Witch Trials'. It's quite fascinating, actually."

"Really, I loved that one," Caroline said cheerfully. She always loved talking about books, though she could tell the girl really wasn't that happy to see her, "have you read the one about the witch trials in Scotland? It's probably my favorite. You can call me Caroline by the way. It's nice to see you again," she said truly meaning it.

"Nice to meet you. I am named October. Just October. Not 'Tober', 'Toby', or any other distorted version of my name." October replied, "And no, I have not read about the Witch Trials in Scotland. Are they just as fascinating as the American ones?"

"It depends if you like to read about things happening at home or further away," Caroline began. "But I would probably say the ones in Scotland, just because it went on longer and has more information."

"Awesome! I think you'll enjoy them if you're really intrested in that book," Caroline stated matter of factly, in an all to hyper way.

"I like it when people read books I recommend them too." October smiled wryly, noticing the hyped-up way Caroline was speaking.

"Really?!?" ok Caroline was really excited now. She almost jumped up before she caught herself and made it seem more of an attempt to catch her broom (which she pushed over in her attempt not to be hyper) "what are your favorites? I particularly like almost anything to do with the history of magic."

"Calm down, girl!" October reached up to take hold of the girl's wrist and pull her back down, "We don't want you hurting anyone jumping around like that."

"Haha," Caroline laughed calming down a bit, "Sorry I don't know what's been getting into me latley. The smallest things will make me, like, jump. Though most of the time I do keep my cool," she admitted to someone, not sure it was to October or herself.
