Alea opened the door to the dormitory and headed towards a locked trunk she kept under her bed.

October drifted silently in after her, "So, do you really have something for my head, or did you just want to get away from that Ravenclaw boy? Filius, I think his name is. My brother knows him."

Alea smiled. "Both, actually. Here," she pulled a corked vial out of the trunk and handed it to October. "Just drink about half of it. Also, I think that's a hangover, not just a headache."

"Yes...I thought so too. Somebody definitely spiked the punch." October took the vial from Alea, "I'm not sure who, though. There were never any tell-tale signs of an invisibility spell, and they would have to use one to sneak anything in."

Alea pondered this for a minute. "Yeah, you're right. What do you think happened?"

"Well, it obviously had to take someone with a lot of skill to sneak something in without it being noticed, or else there is a student somewhere who has an invisibility cloak, although I highly doubt that."

Alea smiled. "Yeah. Those are really rare. Not to mention expensive!"

"But it doesn't really matter, anyway. I don't think there was any lasting damage done." October sighed, drinking half the liquid in the vial as Alea had directed. Her headache suddenly began easing up, "Oh, and thank you, Alea."

"Mhm." October nodded, "It was very kind of you to offer this to me."

Alea smiled. "Oh, it's nothing. I have a friend who works in the hospital wing; Comas Satchell. I'm normally prone to headaches so she fixes this for me."

October almost smiled, "It must be nice to have such a good friend."

Alea sighed. "Yeah. We know each other pretty well," she said. We can read each others' thoughts...yep, we know each other pretty well, she laughed internally.

"Mm. I wish I could have someone like that, but the only people I am close too are August and Severus. August is, well, my brother, so the bond is a bit different, and Severus likes to keep his distance most of the time." October sighed with the thought of Severus. She would sell her soul to have that kind of relationship with him, even if it fell just short of what she actually wanted.

Alea felt a slight sadness coming from October. "Severus is an interesting person. He seems to have a lot of secrets."
