When had the world ever come to this? Papers shoved everywhere, a spare robe racing around the candles with a mop, and the common room a wreck that contained a little bit of every Gryffindor's trash. Kingsley didn't even want to know what the black goo dripping off one wall was from. He settled deeper into his leather armchair and hoped some sort of house elf would clean this pigsty before night's end. His own bloody common room trashed in a day, and worse, he knew who had done it. That knowledge, along with zero proof, grated on his last set of nerves. Kingsley Shacklebolt did not want to be bothered tonight.

JP Morgan pranced cheerfully down the stairs from the Girl's Dorms carrying a new charms book she had "bought" earlier in the year. Her nose buried deeply in her book, she didn't notice the mess that the Common Room was in right off. Instead she walked straight through it until she tripped right over a small stool that had been placed unceremoniously in the middle of her path. She fell head first over the stool and landed on her back, looking up at the ceiling. "Well that wasn't very nice," she remarked aloud, getting to her feet. JP started to brush herself off when she realized that she had no idea what was on her. Instead of the normal dust one might get when falling, she had sticky stuff on her.

Kingsley was still nursing a wounded pride when he heard approaching footsteps from one of the dorms behind him. Preparing for attack, he leapt over the back of his chair and yanked out his wand. The seventh year could only hope that James Potter (Or another member of his pansy group) would come walking through the door and straight into his path. The footsteps slowed down right in front of Kingsley and as he heard the subject crashing to the ground he yelled, "Accio....uhh.... goo. Take that James Potter!"

JP bent down to get her book, still unaware that she wasn't the only one in the room when some gross junk started flying towards her. "Eww!" JP partially shrieked as wet gooey stuff attacked her. JP looked up at the person who cast the spell at her and before it even registered whom it was, she punched him right in the face and yelled, "What do you think you're doing?!?" Before she kicked him again. Taking a deep breath, she managed to control her temper. Now she'd have to take another shower... Great. Frowning, she bent down to pick up her book and brush it off before it became any more ruined.
