Kingsley Shacklebolt walked proudly to the Gryffindor table and took a seat next to small first-years. Ignoring the fact that they scooted away the second he sat down, Kingsley beganing filling his plate with food from the wide array in front of him. Today had been an awesome day for Kinglsey and Michael; they'd managed to prank a Slytherin third-year without getting caught! That kid would be showering for the next three years......... The seventh year lost himself in thoughts of new pranks as the hall began to fill.
((Woot, I know its short but Im off to bring my other two peeps in))

Crap, he though sadly, this was never going to come off. Regulus Black attempted for the tenth time to magic the gold and maroon dye out of his hair. And that wasn't even the worst...... Across the back of his head in big black letters was Gryffindor Rules, shining brightly in all of its glory. Glumly, placing himself at the Slytherin table, the third-year realized how much he wanted to kill Kingsley Shacklebutt. ((Yeah I know, I spelled it how i wanted too.))

"Regulus?" October raised an eyebrow as the third year sat down at the table, his hair dyed the annoyingly bright Gryffindor colors and 'Gryffindor Rules!' tattooed across his forehead. Regulus could not have done that to himself. Obviously, he had been the victim of another cruel and demeaning prank played by a Gryffindor (and October had a very shrewd idea which Gryffindor that was). "Who did that to you? Have you told one of the professors about it yet...? You can only get retribution if someone of authority knows what happened, Regulus..." She had really had enough with these Gryffindors and their pranks. It was annoying. They should be happy the Slytherins were too mature to prank them back...

Regulus stared at October blankly. "Yeah, I'll just go tell the Professors that someone four years my senior did this.... That'll work." he murmured into his butterbeer. The middle Black could already hear the laughter from the other tables. Shouts of "Lassie's turned all Gryff on us" and "Brotherly love strikes again". Even though Sirius hadn't been the one to dye his hair and tattoo him, Regulus blamed his brother for everything that had happened.

"Well, someone has to put a stop to it." October replied, plucking a green apple from a nearby basket and proceeding to chop it into sixths with her knife. The knife was rather blunt, making it difficult to chop the apple up, but somehow October was managing it. "Nothing we say will stop them, but I think the Gryffindors wouldn't be so high and mighty if we brought them before a professor. Who are they going to trust more, Regulus? A couple of ragtag prankster Gryffindors who barely pass their exams every year or one of us?" Anyone had to admit, she had a point. Gryffindors were constantly blurring the line between brave and stupid. They got into trouble and most were generally unpopular with the professors.

He shrugged and started to munch on a roll. "I don't think telling any professor is going to help us, October. In the end, Dumbledore always sticks up for them and they get away with it." Regulus glared at a nearby Hufflepuff who laughed as she pointed to the words on his forehead. "If we just keep to ourselves we'll get them back sometime." he finished with a sigh.

"I think Dumbledore makes a fine Headmaster, but he's so biased. Slytherins always get the short end of the stick. It's not fair. Nobody likes us. They all idolize the charmingly stupid Gryffindors." October stabbed her apple with noticable force. Cutting it wasn't getting any easier. If only she had a sharper knife! She was sure they had been taught a sharpening charm before, but she couldn't remember exactly what it was at the moment. "You wouldn't happen to remember a sharpening charm, would you? I think I learned it in third year. This knife is so infuriatingly dull...it can't cut anything..."

Caroline Valde waltzed into the Great Hall feeling as perky as always. She had been out late last night at Zonko's and hadn't gotten in until early this morning. Still, she was just as entergetic as she would have been if she had slept for the past twentyfour hours. Waving at Ocotber when she came in, Caroline went to go sit at the Gryffindor table next to someone she seemed to remember was Kingsley. "Good day to you," she partially sang while sitting down.

"Morning, Caroline." Kingsley replied, ducking as Owls and potential howlers from parents zoomed above his head. He moved over and made room for her. "You seem happy this morning, play a great prank or something?" The seventh year asked with a grin.
((I swear I shall post! Shoot me If I don't))

Regulas leaned back as October hacked away at her food. "Here," he said whilst grabbing the knife from her hand, so as not to accidentally sharpen any item that did not need it. "Acer." Regulas pointed his wand at the knife and quickly gave it back to October. He was sure that school life had to be better than this....
Screeching above his head caused the middle Black to lift his golden head up and look at the incoming Owl. Kalent swooped low, almost missing Regulas because of the Slytherin's seemingly horrible identity crisis.

"Not quite but it's in the process," the fifth year Gryffindor told Kingsley trying not to grin manaically. Picking up an apple from a bowl in the middle of the table she took a bite out of it and contimpated what she should spend the rest of her day doing. Almost everything was planned and in order for her prank, so all there was left to do was, basically, wait. "What are you doing today?" Caroline ask randomly wondering if he had anything fun planned.

Mesedj came into the Great Hall, rubbing her eyes and yawning, and sat down across from October. She took a moment to notice Regulus's hair, but when she did her eyes widened. "Um... Regulus? What in the..." She could barely stifle her laughter.

"Some Gryffindors got him. I don't think it's very funny." October replied, taking the knife back from Regulus and proceeding to chop her apple up. Finally, the fourth year finished slicing the piece of fruit up and set her knife aside. She took a bite out of one of the slices and chewed thoughtfully, looking up at the windows of the Great Hall. She had sent a few letters home with Orion, her eagle owl, and he had yet to return. Knowing Orion, he probably got lost on the way and was somewhere deep in the southern hemisphere...

Kingsley grabbed a scone from a platter and munched happily as he thought about his plans. "I dunno," he said after swallowing, " There isn't hardly anything to do." The seventh-year tugged at his uncomfortable tie and turned to watch some of others come in. "Maybe I'll skip ole' herbie's class or something."
