"Yeah," Blaze raised his hand up to his head, "but they're not me and my mom. She's probably still after you and if she had my help you might have not made it back to school, and even if you did I'm still here."

"Because," he recalled, "I couldn't go that night. I stayed out all the night before and current day, it was going to be a supprise. I came home late that night sick, mom was waiting here mad. I had fallen late the night before and broken my leg along with my broom. So, I was sick and had a broken leg, at first mom was furrious; it isn't like her to get mad if I'm not there for one night. After awhile of argueing, my dad finally convinced her to leave me home; said he'd stay and watch me. I don't know how he did it, no one ever argues with her, but as it was I stayed home in bed that night. At first I was really upset I wasn't able to go, that's all I could think about. Later mom came home and didn't speak to my father or me for around a week. I got over my cold quickly but my leg took forever to heal. I don't know, I just spent all that time degrading myself and everyone around me."
