"The only reason I told you was because you were going to be mad at me if I wasn't," he admitted something else he hadn't planned on. For some reason his friendship to her was more than he thought it was and it slightly annoyed him. Blaze always refused to allow himself to get close enough to someone that he would hurt them, but it seemed he had failed pretty bad at that this year. "It doesn't matter," he went on, "I'm still like them."

"Yes," he agreed, "there was the pestering. But it all doesn't matter, I'm still like them, both of them, and probably like my mother even more. People say I look exactly like her, and I've even been told I act like her a lot as well."
