"I said, 'you're being a jerk'," the red-headed boy repeated louder and slower so Blaze could fully understand him. For some reason the boy had gotten a sudden burst of courage and he only hoped it could last him long enough to finish his argument.

"Really now," Blaze acted as if he had heard it for the first time. "I dare you to say that again," he pushed the younger boy against the wall and held him there with one hand and reaching for his wand with the other. Grabbing his wand, Blaze stuck it in the other boy's face, "Now, what did you say?"

Cody squeezed his eyes shut yelping slightly when this Blaze pushed him against the wall. Breathing heavely he now dared to open one gazing at Raye steadly, half of him not really wanting a girl's help.
