Mimi tramped down the hallway on the third floor, humming to herself. She was not necessairly happy, but she hummed anyway. It was her habit, to hum while walking, no matter how she felt.
Her unaturally large hands were stuffed into her pockets and she was slightly slouched. If her mother were here, she would be all over Mimi for having terrible posture and not being as straight and tall as her two brothers, Zachery and Finnegan.
She sighed, shaking her head. Mimi never had been very important in the family. She was the only girl and a complete failure at everything.

Drommel was walking down the hallway in onw of hos carefree moods. He saw some one in the hallway and went up to her. "Hello, what's your name?" he asked the girl.

Mimi glanced up from her feet, "Oh. Hello. M'name's Mimi." She said awkwardly. Who exactly was this boy? He looked like a Slytherin from the colors of his robes.
((I have to go. Night, all. Taylor, we'll finish this tomorrow.))

Mimi smiled faintly, "Drommel. That's an interesting name. What is it, Greek?" She asked, sweeping over the boy with her dull, yellow eyes.

"I think it's dutch...or latin...whatever it is it means Devil...that's how much my parents love me..." Drommel added looking at her with his green eyes. "Why are your eyes yellow?" he asked seeing her eyes.

Mimi laughed at his joke about his parents, "Oh. You're funny. I like that." She gave him a small, somewhat hesitant smile, "And, about my eyes, I was just born with them. Nothing special really happened."

Drommel smiled, he did enjoy making people happy. "Your eyes are still pretty though." he said.

Mimi's smile faded, "Not really." She sighed, "I hate the color yellow, and yet I get stuck with eyes that color. I think it sucks."

"Well I think they are. Not many people have that color eyes." Drommel said still smiling. "I think that is really cool." he added.

Mimi shrugged, "that's very nice of you to say, Drommel." She attempted to smile, but did not do very well, "I assume you're in Slytherin? A friend of mine is in Slytherin. What year are you?"

"October Cricket. She's a fourth year and I'm a fifth year." Mimi replied, nodding slightly, "we had a fight recently, though, and I don't think she's speaking to me right now. Anyway, you don't seem like a third year. When I first saw you, I thought that you had to be at least a sixth year."

"I know her. Thanks, I know I look older than I am." Drommel said "I am sorry that you had a fight."

"Ah. It's okay. It's not like it's your fault or anything." Mimi shrugged lightly, "She's just been pigheaded lately."
