Drommel walked in to Huneydukes after being dragged by Mimi. "I want some gum."

"Go get some, then. Do you have money or do you want me to lone you some?" Mimi asked, tearing her eyes away from the colorful spectacle of Honeydukes to look over at Drommel. Without waiting for an answer, she pulled a few Galleons out of her pocket and shoved them into the Slytherin's hands, "I think that'll buy you enough gum to keep you satisfied for a while." And with a mischievous grin, she flitted off to go look at the Fizzing Whizbees.

Drommel blinked down at his handful of gold coins. "Thanks!" he yelled at her as she went of towards the Fizzing Whizbees. He headed towards the gum. Maybe I'll also get some Ice Mice and some chocolate frogs... he thought smiling.

Mimi failed to hear him, but was busy buying her own candy. She got several Fizzing Whizbees for herself, along with a small squadron of Chocolate Frogs and three Sugar Quills. The fifth year had always been quite fond of candy. After all, who didn't like the stuff?
After paying for her candy, Mimi stamped over to the 'special' section of Honeydukes, with the weird candies like Cockroach Clusters and Blood lollies. She paused over the blood-flavored lollipops, wondering whether or not to buy one or two for October. For some reason, her Slytherin friend was fond of such confections. Mimi never understood why. In fact, October's strange liking for the lollipops was what caused them to meet on that fated Hogsmeade weekend.
"Ohmygod, what are you eating?!"
"It's a lollipop."
"Yeah, I know! Why are you eating it?"
"I happen to like lollipops."
"You do know that those are...blood flavored, right?"
"No. I wasn't aware blood was tasty enough to be made into a lollipop..."
"...You're weird. You aren't a vampire, are you?"
"If I was a vampire, would I be out in the daylight?"
"Good point! You're kind of funny. You and me, we're friends, alright? Now, throw that thing away before I barf."

Drommel hurried and bought his candy, which included sugar quills, chocolate frogs, gum, and ice mice (which are his favorite). He saw Mimi and headed over to her. "You okay Mimi?" he asked her, seeing that she was just standing there starring at the blood lolipops. "You don't like those do you?"

"Nooo..." Mimi replied hurriedly, "But a friend of mine does. She's not a vampire or anything nasty like that, though. She's just weird..."

Drommel laughed."Okay, I believe that. Morgan is weird but she doesn't like those." he said.

Mimi laughed, "Not many normal people do. After all, I don't think liking blood-flavored things is entirely healthy."

"Yeah, that's how I think about it." Drommel said smiling sweetly.

"Mhm." He has such a nice smile. Mimi thought to herself, smiling in return. He wasn't bad looking for a thirteen year old, and that was usually when boys were in the grips of puberty and most were going through an awkward stage (In Severus' case, they stayed in that awkward stage for an extended time).

"Mhhm." I can't believe I am going out with a 5th year! I really like her though he thought "I am glad that we met in the hall." he said still smiling

((I doubt a person could actually say they 'love' someone else on the first date, unless there's been a long history of unrequited love, such as in the case of October. But, whatever. It's cool with me.))
Mimi grabbed a pair of Blood lollies, just as yet another 'please-forgive-me' gift to October, even though Mimi knew perfectly well that you couldn't buy the fourth year with gifts of any sort. But hey, you could try, and everybody liked gifts.
"Excuse me while I go pay for these." She replied, smiling at Drommel as she hurried up to the counter to buy the candy.

((Yeah I'll change that to really like...sorry been explaining the boards today and I mentioned Dillon/Morgan)) "Okay, I'll be right here." he said smiling.

((S'alright.))
Mimi paid for the candy and stuffed the two lollipops into the bag with hers. She hurried back over to Drommel, "Done!" She said, grinning brightly, "What did you buy, besides gum, I mean?"

He smiled back at her. "I bought sugar quills, chocolate frogs, gum, and ice mice. Ice mice are my favorite." he said getting one out of his bag and licking his lips. Then he put it back in.
