Emily walked into the Three Broomsticks, holding a rather sleepy looking one year old Vesa. Apparently she didn't appreciate waking up early. Emily walked behind the bar and put Vesa down on the floor. "Gwen? You here yet?" She yelled, pulling an apron off a hook and tying it on.
Smash
Emily closed her eyes, hoping that had just been her imagination. She spun around slowly, but of course, there was Vesa, holding the neck of a bottle, surrounded by shards of glass. "Oh, Vesa!" She said, rolling her eyes and putting her daughter up on the counter and pulling out her wand to fix it.

Gwen peeked out from the back room, where she had gone to make sure Royale and Lane weren't destroying anything. "Em? You alright?" she asked, one twin in each arm. Lane was half-asleep, and Royale was busily trying to untie her shoes. When that didn't work, she went for her brother's hair instead. "Roy, stop," Gwen added, rolling her eyes. "Leave Lane's hair alone." Royale pouted, but leaned her head against her mother's shoulder, looking over it at the storage room they had just left.

Emily looked up. "Yeah, I'm fine, Ves just broke a bottle, and as far as I'm aware she hasn't broken anything else yet." She fixed the bottle and set it up on the counter (as far away from Vesa as she could reach). Vesa shifted around to look at who was talking and stretched her arms out towards Gwen making some cute like "gah" sort of sound. "I think she wants you. God, I have enough on my hands with Vesa, I don't understand how you can deal with twins."

Gwen laughed and somehow shifted both of the twins to one arm. Lane grinned at Royale and started trying to untie her shoelaces. She cooed happily as her brother got the first knot undone, but Gwen didn't notice what the twins were doing. "Here, I can take her now," she said, holding her free arm out for Vesa. Just then, Lane got the shoe off and it dropped to the floor. Royale giggled and clapped, and Gwen sighed. "Alright, no shoes, I get it," she muttered, bending over to pick up the little shoe. "Here, let me get the other one," she told Lane, who now had his sister's other shoe mostly untied. He obediently moved his hands, letting her tug it off and put both shoes in her apron pocket. "Are you two quite done?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. The twins nodded, and she shook her head. "Alright, now I really can take her," Gwen told Emily, smiling slightly.

"You want me to take them for you?" Emily asked, smiling at Vesa, who has started tugging on Gwen's hair, probably because it was much longer than her own, and a little more within a one year olds reach. "Ves, honey, leave Gwen's hair alone." Vesa obeyed and rested her head on Gwen's shoulder, sucking her thumb with her eyes half closed. "Apparently she doesn't like being awake this early." Emily laughed.

"Ah, we're fine," Gwen said with a smile, using her shoulder to nudge Royale away from Vesa. "Leave her alone, Roy, she's tired." Lane yawned, then leaned over on Royale and fell back to sleep. Royale blinked, then latched onto the collar of her mother's shirt and fell asleep herself. "Well, there we are then," Gwen said, laughing quietly. "I guess I can put the twins back down in the back, since they're asleep...."

"Here, let me take Ves back." Emily said, pulling Vesa off Gwen's shoulder. Vesa didn't put up any fight or anything, just rested her head on her mother's shoulder the way she had on Gwen's, only this time she fell asleep instead of just being there in some sort of half awake state. "I guess I can put her back there too, now, can't I?"
