Drommel found a spot in the Three Broomsticks and sat down. He was waiting for Mimi. Drommel hummed "The song that never ends" because he was bored and he wanted to.

((You can edit the title, Taylor.))
Mimi tramped into the Three Broomsticks, smiling to herself. Glancing around the crowded bar, she looked for her Slytherin friend, Drommel. Spotting him almost instantly, the fifth year padded over to his table and seated herself across from him, "How are you this fine morning, Drommel?"

"Good. How are you?" he asked, stopping his humming.

"Just wonderful. Thanks for asking." Mimi felt unusually happy today, despite the fact that October still was not speaking to her, even though Mimi had apologized profusely already, and she was still sore from falling off her broom earlier that week.

"I would have asked any way." Drommel said also unusually happy.

"So, want to get some butterbeers?" Mimi asked, "I'll pay..."

"Sure, thanks for paying. I could pay though." Drommel said smilling.

"Nonsense." Mimi said dismissively, rising from the table and fishing a violently cobalt coin purse from the pocket of her pants, "I invited you here, anyway. It's only fair that I pay for your drinks and stuff. You're welcome to come with me, though."
For a split second, the fifth year looked away from Drommel over at a table across the room where two Slytherin fourth years sat together. She glared piercingly at the pair, her normally bright, yellow eyes darkening to a dull amber. A slight frown creased her forehead when she turned her gaze back to Drommel.
((Can you guess who said Slytherins are? One's last name starts with a S and ends with an E. Go on. Three guesses.))

"Whats the matter?" he asked concerned, seeing the look on her face as he stood up to go with her.
((I have no clue O.o))

((Come on, Taylor. It's the second most popular ship on the boards.))
"...Nothing, really." Mimi replied, shaking off the dark, heavy expression she had been wearing and replacing it with a bright smile, "It's just...Well, do you remember that friend I told you about? Well, that's her. Over there with her Death Eater boyfriend." The fifth year jerked her head in the direction of the two Slytherins.

((Snape and October? I thought it said Starts with an E upps ^_^() ))
"Really? That's interesting. Do you think that they will mind me going out with a non-Slytherin? Some do. I wonder..." Drommel said "I like you even though most Slytherins don't agree with cross house relationships. I likje cross house relationships...they help the houses join together..." he added smiling at her.

((Dingdingding! We have a winner, people!))
"Um, I'm sure they wouldn't mind you going out with someone from a different house, as long as it's not a Gryffindor." Mimi raised an eyebrow, "Who are you planning to ask out?"

"You." he said...he didn't even blush..he just smiled. "I would like to ask you out. If you are uncomfortable with it. If so it's okay." he added smiling. Please say yes. he thought but he didn't let his face show how nervous he was.

Mimi's face turned a bright shade of red. She imagined that her round, child-like face could probably be compared to a tomato wearing a brown wig during that moment. Realizing how foolish she must look, the fifth year blushed even harder, "Well...ah..." She began awkwardly, frantically scrabbling for the right words, "Drommel, I...ah...Well, I'm two years older than you are. Not that it really matters in the long run, but won't your friends think it would be weird for you to start going out with a fifth year? It's not that I don't like you, I really do like you, honestly..."
As one could probably guess, Mimi never had much experience with boys. In fact, she could not believe one was asking her out for real. She never thought she was much of a catch, having weird colored eyes, being taller than most boys and usually very sunburned from zipping around the Quidditch Pitch on her broom. But, she really did like Drommel. He was nice, and she needed someone nice right now, with October, perhaps her only real friend, not even speaking to her.

"I don't care what my friends think, if they were real friends it wouldn't matter to them." Drommel said camly, he had never had asked a girl out so far, but knew that staying calm helped. "I really like you too Mimi, isn't that what matters?" he asked plainly.
