Blaze was wondering down the hallway waiting for the bell to ring. He still had a pretty good while so just followed his feet around the school. Without realizing it he was on the first floor and sighed. He hated going to class and hated even more being early for a class he hated. Though Defense Against the Dark Arts was his favorite class, it still rather bored him. Most of what they learned this year his mother had already shown him before.
Still sighing he entered the class room to find it empty. Deciding he minus well wait for class to begin he took a random seat in the back and pulled out his text book skimming through it bored. When he got to the section on boggarts, he shivered, remembering to well his last boggart encounter.
Looking at the clock he sighed again wondering what he should do. Blaze rummaged through his bag and found a piece of parchment and decided to wright a letter home.
Dear Mom,
Hey, I haven't heard from you in a while (at least after your last letter) and decided to check in. I have tried being 'less annoying' as I believe you put it, and have almost succeeded a couple of times. I'm waiting for DADA class to start and can't think of anything else to do, so I'm writing to you; you should feel very honored. What's up with dad? Is everything alright at home?
Later,
Blaze
It wasn't that good of a letter but at least it took up some of the time. Blaze was starting to get worried about what was going on at his house. In past years both his parents had written to him at least twice a week. This year he had only gotten a couple of letters from his mother, and they didn't mention his father at all. He knew they didn't alway get along that well, his mother being a major death eater and all, but normally his father would just go along with anything. Though Blaze knew there were a few times he wouldn't. Then mom would just get really mad and throw spell every which way, he thought.
Coming back to the world around him, Blaze looked at the clock again and realized there wasn't enough time to go to the Owlery. Sighing he continued skimming through his book hoping to find something interesting.
