October drifted silently into the Defense Against The Dark Arts classroom and took a seat near the back. She set her books down on the table before her; their heaviness produced a soft thud that bounced around the nearly empty classroom.
The Slytherin fourth year sighed softly to herself and waited on other students to arrive. After all, class was starting in about five minutes. She was a bit surprised by the fact that it was still so empty in here.

Not being able to find October, Blaze decided to go to his next class. For some reason he greatly liked Defense Against the Dark Arts. It was probably because of all the spell casting. When he entered the room he was supprised to find October already there. "Hiya," he said smiling trying actually to be nice. "So you are in my classes or do you just enjoy hanging out in vancant classrooms?"

"No, I have this class." October replied with a short nod, "I wasn't aware you were in it, though." She drummed her fingers against the cover of one of her books, shifting her gaze toward one of the windows. It was a lovely day outside, cloudless and warm with a touch of wind.

"Yep," he told her trying to smile, "I have this class, though I try not to draw to much attention to myself during it. Wouldn't want to deprive the professor of any attention," Blaze stopped remembering his letter then thinking of it continued, "but as you know --" he said trailing off.

October rolled her eyes, but said nothing. Once again, his arrogance was almost astounding. She was almost proud of Caroline for jinxing him back in the Three Broomsticks. His head definitely needed some deflating.

Blaze stood awkwardly for a moment trying to figure out what to say next that wouldn't bring his across as a totally jerk to this girl. He tried to remember some of the advice the potions girl had given him but all he could remember was the 'hey' remark. He almost growled at October when she rolled her eyes at him. He knew it was obvious that this girl didn't like him, and that could be part of the reason that's who he wanted to start with, with his 'being nice' project.
"So, is this your favorite class?" He asked her changing the subject, from his awesomeness which it appeared she didn't like hearing constantly about.

"Second favorite, actually." October answered, "Despite the fact that Professor Binns is terribly boring, I am rather partial to History Of Magic."

"Oh," Blaze started to say something that could be taken as rude and stopped, "well, I would guess he is terribly boring except I can never stay awake long enough in his class to find out."

"Try paying attention once in a while. The subject material is rather interesting, even if Professor Binns presents it in a boring manner." October suggested.

"Alright then," Blaze said trying to sound nice, "I'll try my hardest to stay awake for class tomorrow."

Blaze put down his books on October's table, and asked, "So, what exactly are we learning in here? I have kind of had a blank out since last Thursday."

October thought for a moment, "I believe..." She started, "I believe we might be reveiwing boggarts today, but I'm not exactly sure. I believe we should wait on the Professor for that answer."

Blaze shuttered, "I hate those dumb things almost as much as I hate," realizing that saying 'that stupid potions girl' would probably not go across nicely with October. Being a girl, October probably had that strange girl behavoir where they didn't like people disin' their kind, he decided to say "Gryffindors," which wasn't completely untruthful since the person he disliked most certainly was a Gryffindor.

October inclined her head slightly, "Ah. I hate boggarts as well. They're quite awful, with that nasty habit of appearing as one's greatest fear." She sighed softly, remembering what happened with the last boggart she faced. That was definitely an experience she did not want to repeat.
