October hopped off her stool and landed lightly on the stone floor of the classroom, "Certainly." She smiled at Severus.

Vials in one hand and bookbag in the other, he started out of the classroom and into the hallway, "How long is this trip going to take? Europe is quite a large area to cover in one summer."

October thought for a moment, "Well, we aren't exactly going to every country." She replied, smiling sheepishly, "But, anyway, I believe it'll take about seven weeks."

"That's reasonable. Are you planning on using this to get extra credit in DADA?" Severus could feel a smile crawling onto his face.

October shook her head, "No, actually. That never really occured to me." The fourth year replied, "My mother and I, I suppose you could call us paranormal enthusiasts. I find the idea of returning to this earth after death fascinating. I want to understand it, I suppose."

"You might want to look into it," Severus glanced over at her. "Paranormal enthusiasts? I'll say. Have you read the books in the library that have been written about ghosts and hauntings? I looked at a few, and, I have to say, it does have it's intrigue."

October smiled inwardly, "Yes. It most certainly does." She replied with a brief nod.

Severus ducked into Professor Slughorn's office and placed the vials on the shelves. Scribbling a quick note on a paper on his desk, he was quickly on his way. "Now where to?"

October paused thought a moment before replying, "Want to go outside? It's a lovely day." She said, gesturing vaguely to the stairs down the hallway, "We could sit by the lake or something of that sort..."
This Saturday, it was relatively clear, except for a few scattered clouds. They were wispy, though, and there was no possibility of it raining. It was a bit windy, but October found she liked blustery days more than those when the air was just still. It made it feel as though the Earth was more alive, more animate.

Severus glanced apprehensively at the stairs that led to the outside world. It was nice to go outside once in a while, but outside meant people, and people meant interaction, and it wasn't always good interaction.
"Sure," he replied at last. He was in the mood for some fresh air anyways.

((How come I have a feeling Sirius is going to play a nasty prank on poor Sevvie today?))
"Alright. Let's go." October took hold of Severus' hand and made for the stairs.
((So, do we start a thread outside?))

((You know me too well!))
Severus felt sunsets blazing as October took his hand and led him to the stairs. "Coming!"
((I guess so...))
