Outer fringes of the forest

[October Cricket]

The very most outer fringes of the Forbidden Forest were not as dark or dangerous as the deeper parts of the evil woods. There was a lot of underbrush, making it feel like a slightly more natural area, and fingers of mist crept in, winding softly through the tall, smooth trees. Every now and then, a bush would rustle or a twig would snap, giving the outer area a more 'lived-in' feel than the heart of the forest, where there was little sound at all.

Puddles of light leaked between the gaps in the branches, spilling down to the forest floors and cutting through the mist. The cool shade of the woods was strangely welcoming, hoping to draw weary, distraught students of the nearby school into its loving embrace.

[Lucius Malfoy]

Lucius stepped into the fringes of the forest, spinning around nervously as an owl hooted. He Dis-Illusioned himself with a tap of his wand and sat on a rock to wait for his dear Cissa.

[Narcissa Black]

Narcissa wandered down to the Forest, trying to act casual. Lucius's note had said he would be at the edge of the forest... aha, there he was. "Lucius!"

[Lucius Malfoy]

Lucius smiled at Narcissa as she approached. "Hello, dear Narcissa."

[Narcissa Black]

She smiled back and hugged him. "So, why did you want to meet me, darling?"

[Lucius Malfoy]

"I wanted to talk about..." he looked frantically around and lowered his voice to a whisper, "the Dark Lord's proposal. I know you and I are completely loyal, as is Bella, but I'm wondering about Regulus and October. What shall we do with them?"

[Narcissa Black]

Narcissa looked down at the ground. She had known this would happen eventually. "Well, October... I don't think she'll tell, but I don't think she'll join either. You can ask. And Regulus is as loyal as I am." It wasn't a lie completely, she thought- she was helping Lucius...

[Lucius Malfoy]

Lucius nodded, even though he was not completely convinced.

[Amos Digory]

suddenly for no apperent reason amos came by, he looked at the two, as if he had witnessed the dark lord himself had apeared and simply said "hello" and walked by very quickly.

[Caroline Valde]

"Hey Amos," Caroline called running to catch up to him clutching a bag of hiccup sweets that were only noticeable to the trained eye, "wait up". She paid the two Slytherins no mind at all as she ran past.

[Amos Digory]

"Hey Caroline!" Amos greeted the older girl with a friendly smile. "How's this year been treating you so far?" he asked. Amos knew that he should probably be cautios around her, especially since she was a Gryffindor, but for some reason he just couldn't help but putting full trust in people. "Everything going well I presume?"
