Blaze wondered down to the quidditch pitch holding his broom. It had been a really long time since he had been down there, or even thought about it. Sighing he looked around for Steve. Reluctantly Blaze agreed to teach his fellow classmate about flying, in the hope Steve might actually be occupied with something else for one and leave him alone.
Looking around once more, Blaze hoped on his broom and took off. It felt great to have the cool air run through his dark hair. He smiled feeling the best he had in days. From up in the air Blaze could see most of the grounds below over to one side of him was the forbidden forest, and then there was the lake and the castle. Actually smiling, Blaze continued to fly around in circles around the pitch waiting for his new student to arrive.

October drifted onto the Quidditch pitch, carrying a small, brown book that was roughly the size of an adult's hand. Something was scrawled across the cover of the book in bright, golden ink that glittered brightly in the sunlight. She carried a richly purple quill in the other hand, along with a small, unopened bottle of ink.
The Slytherin girl was fully aware that the Quidditch pitch was usually not in use, other than for team practice and games. If she was correct, there were no games or practice sessions scheduled for today. That made it perfect.
She could grab a minute alone. The library was unusually crowded today and there were one too many Gryffindors out on the grounds for her liking. The common room had already been ruled out, since it was usually quite loud during the weekends, being a favored place of discussion for her house mates.
So, that left either an empty classroom or the Quidditch pitch. So, Quidditch pitch it was.

Blaze was flying above when he saw someone walking towards the pitch. Thinking it was Steve he flew around a few more times waiting for him to get there. Though when the person reached the Quidditch Pitch it looked more like a girl. Going to investigate, Blaze swooched down, "Hey October!" he yelled hoping he could hear her.

October glanced up, "Oh. Hello, Blaze." She replied, a tiny, almost unnoticable note of disappointment in her voice, "I was hoping that the Quidditch Pitch would be empty. Why are you here?"

Steve ran up to the Quidditch pitch. "I hope Blaze isn't to anal about being on time," he said to himself as he stopped when he reached the pitch and saw Blaze talking to a girl.

"I'm waiting for Steve. What about you?" Blaze lowered his broom some more so he didn't have to shout, he was now almost touching the ground flying circles around October instead of the pitch.

"Well, I would tell you if you would please stop circling me on that broom. It's rather dizzying, you see." October replied, making no attempt at eye contact with the flying boy on the broom, "And I can't very well explain my being here if I'm disoriented."

"Alright be that way. You're no fun," he pouted bringing his broom to a stop in front of her. "So..." he prodded.

"I came here to write" October began gently, nodding to the supplies she carried in her arms, " I like it to be quiet when I write, so that's why I came. The Common Room is too loud, the library is too crowded, and there are too many Gryffindors on the grounds for my liking."

Blaze rolled his eyes at the boy coming up to them. "Hello Steve," he glared. To October he said, "Don't worry we will be really, really quiet and you won't even know we're here."
