He didn't do anything to stop her attack because he was tired of all his days turning into nightmares as his final adieu, he said, "Diffindo," hoping to embarrass her at least

Blaze gave up just letting the spell hit him, wondering why he was so tired. He glanced down at his throbbing hand barley able to focus straight before he fell.

At his point Blaze didn't really care what happened to him as long as he got some sleep and his hand would stop hurting.
