Astrum took his hand and pushed herself up from the ground. She pulled his jacket off her shoulders. "Keep it, you're just as soaking and frozen as I am, probably worse." She said, holding it out to him. "We'll be up at the castle in a minute anyway." She ran her fingers through her dripping black hair, and wrung it out. Man, it's times like these I wish my hair wasn't so damn long

"I'm fine," Blaze pushed his jacket back towards her and turned away to pick up the rest of his belongings. "I don't need it. I'm not the one that sounds like they're about to cough up the Lake. Besides, the water wasn't that cold. I'll live." He turned back around and brushed past her, "Let's go."

Astrum didn't bother arguing, just threw the jacket at him. "Honestly, I'm fine. I didn't cough because I fell in the lake, I coughed because I got hit with whatever it was you cast. I'm feeling better anyway." She said, half-walking, half-running to get back up to the castle before she got sick. Of course, her saying she was fine probably would have worked better if she hadn't coughed again. And again.

Blaze clentched his fists in utter frustration. Part of him wanted to run after her and tell her how completely stupid she was being and to start thinking before she got hurt, and another part of him wanted her to get sick and die for arguing with her. "I hate you," he growled loudly, "then why do ..." Blaze paused and shook his head to clear it from all distracting thoughts as he decided to follow Astrum back up to the Castle at a quicker pace.

Astrum turned around and stuck her tongue out at him. "Yeah, whatever. You're my best friend because you hate me." She said, walking into the entrance hall. "See, I'm inside, it's warm, and I'm perfectly fine." Of course she was still walking backwards, tripped and fell over, laughing. Which of course lead to more coughing.

Blaze stood over her glaring. There was nothing he had to say, but disaprovment (sp) was written all over his face. She should just listen to him. Everyone should just listen to him. The world would be better if everyone would just listen to him. It would be the perfect utopia.

Astrum looked up at him. "Yes, I coughed. I'm not dying because I coughed." She said, sitting up and crossing her legs. "I suppose that's what you think? I've got some fatal disease because I'm cold and wet and coughing. But I am perfectly fine. If I wake up and can't breathe, then you can say 'I told you so', but that's not going to happen."

"If I wake up and you're not breathing," Blaze paused a second though his voice was growing cold like his temper, "I'm not going to bother with the 'I told you sos'. I'm going to bring you back to life and then kill you again for not listening to me! I'm cold and wet and I'm not coughing. There's nothing wrong with me! You're coughing...therefore there's something wrong with you. I have no earthly idea what spell I cast, but it could have seriously injured you."

"Well, if coughing's the only side effect then it can't be something that bad. Besides, I'm not coughing as much any more, it's probably wearing off." Astrum said. "And if you do that I'll chose to be a ghost and follow you around for the rest of your life making you feel guilty for killing me." She added, smiling.

Blaze didn't find this funny, not funny at all. "Fine. Die," he turned quickly around and headed in the opposite direction of her not willing to listen to anything else she had to say. If she wanted to die then haunt him he didn't care; it wasn't his problem.

"Oh come on, Blaze, I was just kidding." Astrum said, standing up and following him. "Jeese, lighten up. I'm not sick, I'm not going to die. We came inside, I'm warming up, neither of us are going to get sick, okay?"
