The amount of people that are here both for Hogwarts and not is astounding! Morgan is not here but I thought this needed to be put up.

October blinked, trying to clear her eyes, as she waded through the crowded streets of Hogsmeade. The sharp wind combined with the various smells and such drifting in the air made her eyes sting and water. Her hands clutched the green-and-silver Slytherin scarf around her neck with a sense of defensiveness.
She was more or less alone. Every now and then, October would come across a classmate, but they were always in a hurry to be off somewhere else. She had nowhere to go, nor had she any desire to be heare today. But...she had nothing better to do, and perhpas she could find a new ribbon to tie back her hair. Her curreny was a bit...bloodstained. After all, she had used it to bind her hand after the incident in the 2nd Floor greenhouse.

Severus traversed through the crowds, eager to be in the Three Broomsticks. With a horrible squelch, he looked down in disgust, that was quickly turned into puzzlement.
Who in their right mind would bring a dog to Hogsmeade?
He wiped his shoe on the curb and ducked into the pub. Severus figured he'd puzzle it out over a Butterbeer.

October stopped a moment, thinking. She was not exactly headed anywhere, and it was not entirely wise to wander about alone. Perhaps she could go to the Three Broomsticks (someone she knew was likely to be there), find a friend, and follow them about until it was time to go back to the school.
"Alright." She said aloud to no one in particular, and started off in the general direction of the Three Broomsticks.

Severus was grumbling to himself. Inflation was terrible, what with the war; that butterbeer cost him 16 sickles, almost a whole galleon! Ridiculous!

October silently flitted through the doors of the Three Broomsticks and began scanning the room for a familiar face. Of course, she found one nearly instantly. October padded up behind Severus and tapped him lightly on the shoulder, "Severus?"

Shoving others in the crowd away, Kingsley covered the ground to the Three Broomsticks quickly. In Kingsley's hands was the leash around the big black dog at his side. "Come on, Snuffles." he muttered out of the side of his mouth. The door was already open and Kingsley was pulled inside with the flow of customers.

Severus' head snapped up, "Yeah? Oh, October! Here, have a seat." He scooted over to make room for her, "Busy this afternoon?"

The dog nipped at wandering feet that were too close to him for comfort. His tail wagged like a madman's, his joy at being back at the Three Broomsticks apparent.

Kingsley sauntered up to an empty seat at the bar. Hah, he thought, let Rosey see past this one. Pulling Snuffles underneath the stool, he waved to Madam Rosmerta.

Snuffles resented at being pulled under the stool, and dug his hind-legs in, but to no avail. He contented himself to chewing on Kingsley's shoelaces and staring at passerby. He welcomed the occasional pat on the head.

James wandered in and sat down by Kingsley, prodding Snuffles under the table. "Hey there," he whispered to the dog.

The dog hung his tongue out and shuffled to James, ears perked up. He nudged his wet, black nose under James' hand, wanting a proper scratch behind the ears.

Kingsley kicked at Snuffles, just barely missing an eyeball. As he pulled his shoe off he noted the slobber dripping onto the bar. Sirius was going to owe him. "Whose a good doggie?" he asked sarcastically.

Snuffles turned and bared his teeth at Kingsley, threatening to chew on his other shoelace as well.
